A Letter to Santa... in the Middle of Summer? 💌
Some traditions are simply too magical to wait until December.
This year at Christmas in July, children are invited to write a letter to Santa and drop it into Santa's Summer Mailbox. While it may seem early, the North Pole is already hard at work preparing for Christmas, and Santa loves hearing from children all year long.
But the magic doesn't end there.
Every child who leaves a letter will receive a thoughtful, personalized reply from Santa.
Then, when the Holiday Artisan Fair returns to Bolton Spring Farm this November, families are invited back to visit Santa's Post Office, where hundreds of letters from the North Pole will be waiting on display. There's something truly special about watching children search for their own envelope, discover their name, and realize that Santa remembered them.
To help Santa write a letter that feels personal and meaningful, parents are invited to share a few details about their child after the event. Favorite hobbies, recent accomplishments, beloved pets, or even something they're especially proud of—these little details help Santa create a reply that feels wonderfully real.
It's a simple tradition, but one we hope becomes a cherished memory for families year after year.
1. Visit Santa's Summer Mailbox
At Christmas in July, children can write a letter to Santa or bring one from home.
2. Drop Your Letter in the Mailbox
Be sure to include your child's name and mailing address so Santa knows who wrote!
3. Help Santa Personalize the Reply
After the event, parents can complete a short online form with a few details they'd like Santa to know. The more you share, the more personal the reply can be.
4. Return This November
During our Holiday Artisan Fair, visit Santa's Post Office and look for a special envelope addressed to your child. Every letter will be waiting for its young recipient to discover.
How it Works
Santa asked us to gather a little extra information to help him write each child a thoughtful, personalized reply. The more you share, the more magical their letter will feel. Everything you tell us will stay between your family and Santa.

Supporting Hometown Heroes
Honoring All Who Served
During the Christmas in July event, we're proud to support Hometown Heroes, a community initiative founded in 2018 by Karen Regan, Bolton Spring Farm Event Director, to honor local veterans and active-duty military members through public recognition, storytelling, and remembrance.
The program was inspired by Lt. Col. Howard "David" Stephenson, a Bolton native, Air Force officer, and member of the Stephenson family whose roots at Bolton Spring Farm span generations. David was killed in action during the Vietnam War while serving his country, and his story serves as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by military families both here at home and across our nation.
With the support of the Town of Bolton, particularly the Department of Public Works and the leadership of former DPW Administrator Leslie Caisse, Hometown Heroes was brought to life and continues to grow each year as new veterans and active-duty service members are recognized and honored throughout our community.
As our nation commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States, we felt it was especially meaningful to select Hometown Heroes as The Savor Fair's community fundraiser. This year, we are working to raise funds for six new Hometown Heroes banners that will be installed in 2027. Every contribution helps ensure that the service, sacrifice, and stories of our local heroes are remembered and celebrated for generations to come.
Because every hometown has heroes, and every hero deserves to be remembered.
